OK, no fancy stuff on this one or pics (too lazy to look through my folders... OK maybe just one!).
Typically, Spring is a time for newness, love, and the beginning of sunny weather. But for me, March through May has always been a bit bumpy over the past 12 years. My mom's birthday is in March, she died in April, and Mother's Day is in May. When I lived in the town where she was laid to rest, I used to pay respects on each of those days. Now I live a bit further so I can't do that, unfortunately, but I still think about her a lot during this time.
OK, about business.
February and March I actually got a good amount of work done on the illustrations for my next capsule of t-shirts. But April has been a bit rough as far as getting things done. My schedule was kind of all over the place, and I had to re-write my schedule several times to accommodate some work-related events. Not that I have a problem with that. I take pride in my job and the things I've achieved there as well. . .
So I'm a bit behind again on the new product. But in the meantime I've been beefing up my social media presence across all platforms (not just related to business, I've been increasing my LinkedIn network and even Yelping lol...). I've been connecting with social media influencers, and the campaigns should launch as soon as the products arrive. I also hired some help with growing on social media, as I really don't have the time or expertise to do the job properly on my own.
Anyway.... going to try to sleep. Keyword: try.
